If you have ever stared at a moving quote and thought, "That can't be the full price, surely?", you are not alone.

Moving from Westbourne Grove to Holland Park may look, on a map, like a short hop across West London.

Moving in Notting Hill can leave you standing in a half-empty flat, looking at a sofa that no longer fits the new place, a mattress you do not want to drag up another staircase, and a small mountain of packaging that somehow arrived overnight.

Ladbroke Grove removals can look straightforward on paper, but anyone who has tried to move a sofa, a mattress, or a full family home through a tight London street knows the reality is very different.

Moving on or near Portobello Road is not a standard house move.
